Kinesiology AND Common Running injuries

The Healing Power of Energy Kinesiology for Exercise Injuries, Including Common Running Ailments

Conventional treatments for sports injuries often focus on addressing the immediate symptoms, leaving the underlying causes unresolved. This is where energy kinesiology comes into play – by assessing the body's muscle tone and energetic frequency, energy kinesiologists can identify the root causes, i.e., weakness, leading to your injury and develop a customized plan to recover and prevent relapse. Here's a closer look at how energy kinesiology can be a support you in your recovery and ongoing well-being.

Accelerating the Healing Process

After the initial injury and inflammation have subsided, energy kinesiology can be highly effective in facilitating the body's natural healing mechanisms. Through specialized muscle testing and balancing techniques, energy kinesiologists can identify and release any "jammed" or over-facilitated muscles that may be inhibiting your recovery. By restoring optimal muscle function, you'll experience reduced pain and an accelerated timeline for full healing.

Reducing the pain

Kinesiology pain corrections and frequency energy healings can lesson or eliminate the pain altogether. Small muscle adjustments, can also be employed to release muscle tension.

Addressing Muscle Imbalances to Prevent Injury

One common cause of exercise injuries is muscle imbalances – where certain muscle groups are overly tight or weak compared to their counterparts. Energy kinesiology can pinpoint these imbalances and provide energetic corrections and minor adjustments to bring your musculature back into alignment. By correcting these underlying issues, you'll not only find relief from your current injury but also prevent future ones from occurring.

Regaining Flexibility and Range of Motion

Restricted mobility is a common side effect of injuries, often leading to ongoing pain and reduced performance. Energy kinesiology employs a holistic approach to restore flexibility, utilizing techniques such as muscle energy techniques, joint mobilizations, and therapeutic stretching. With the guidance of a skilled energy kinesiologist, you'll regain the fluidity of movement you need to excel in your chosen sport.

"Shecani is amazing! After experiencing Achilles and heel pain for months, I needed some solutions. She worked on correcting the pain which now means I can move about more freely and get through a full gym session! Would highly recommend to anyone. Pain is gone and now a distant memory."- Nick, Hobart

Addressing Common Running Injuries

One of the most common running injuries is a pulled or strained calf muscle, which refers to a strain in the two muscles at the back of your leg, the gastrocnemius and soleus. It usually takes a few days for it to start feeling better, but full recovery may take weeks. These muscles are commonly strained due to one or both being too-tight or over facilitated. Energy kinesiology can be highly effective in balancing these muscles and providing pain correction to reduce pain and accelerate healing.

Interestingly, the soleus muscle has an adrenaline access point, and high adrenaline states (think fight/flight) can cause this muscle to over-facilitate and become jammed thus making it more susceptible to injury. When a muscle is jammed it is unable to relax even when it is not being used.

Whether you're recovering from a recent setback or seeking to address long-standing pain and discomfort, energy kinesiology offers a comprehensive solution. By addressing the root causes of your sports injury, this integrative modality can help you return to peak performance and reclaim the active lifestyle you love.
